How does selling my saddle work?

Submit Your Details

  • Fill out the online form with your saddle details.
  • We will get back to you within 24 hours to discuss the sale price.

Confirm & Courier

  • Once the price is confirmed, you’ll receive a courier ticket.
  • Pack your saddle and send it to us.

Safety & Soundness Inspection

  • We must inspect your saddle for unseen damage (gullet, rivets and stitching). Secondhand saddles can have unseen damage to the Tree and gullet which could cause a serious injury if the saddle fails while being ridden.
  • Safety Inspection cost is $80 for fixed gullets & $30 for interchangeable, charged on completion of the inspection with a full report provided. 

Advertising & Enquiries

  • Your saddle is cleaned and professional photos and video are taken in preparation for advertising your saddle.
  • Your saddle will be advertised on our website, Trade Me, Facebook, Marketplace, Instagram etc.
  • We manage all buyer enquiries quickly and professionally.

7 Day Trials

  • Buyers can take a 7-day trial after paying in full.
  • We offer a unique remote Saddle Selection Guide service to help purchasers connect with the right saddle even when a fitter is not available for them.
  • We have a national network of qualified saddle fitters who are able to help anywhere in the country. 

Confirmation & Payment

  • Post-trial, the sale is confirmed.
  • We arrange payment to your bank account.
