Suitability for Different Horse Types

Best Suited For:

• Horses with Normal/Medium Withers: The Classic Dressage tree with a 33 gullet width works well for horses with well-defined, moderate withers that blend smoothly into a well-muscled back. This is the ideal conformation for this saddle model.
• Horses with Curved Backs: The Freestyle's design accommodates horses with average curved backs and good muscle development, providing balanced support across the back.
• Horses with Moderate Width: The 33 gullet width is suitable for horses with medium body width, offering good stability and weight distribution.

May Not Be Ideal For:

• Horses with very high, sharply defined withers (may require a narrower gullet width)
• Horses with low/mutton withers and very wide, flat backs (saddle stability may be compromised)
• Horses with significantly downhill conformation
