Suitability
The X-Optimax K is a highly adaptable saddle, but its design makes it particularly suitable for the following horse conformations:
Horses with Prominent or High Withers: The saddle's tree and panel design are ideal for providing a secure and comfortable fit over a more pronounced wither.
Horses with Developed Shoulders: The anatomically shaped panels are engineered to ensure maximum freedom for the trapezius muscles and shoulder blade movement, which is essential for horses with well-muscled or large shoulders.
A Wide Range of Horse Morphologies: The saddle is known to adapt very well to various horse types. The synthetic tree is also heat-adjustable by a qualified saddler, allowing for a custom fit that can be modified as the horse's back changes over time.
Important Note: Saddle fitting is crucial. While a saddle model may be designed for a specific horse type, it's always recommended to have a professional saddle fitter assess both the horse and rider to ensure the best possible fit.
About
The Prestige X-Optimax K is a monoflap dressage saddle designed for riders who prioritize an exceptionally close and direct feel with their horse. As the single-flap version of the popular X-Optimax line, the "K" model eliminates the layers of a traditional double flap, allowing for immediate communication and a seamless connection.
Built on the same innovative X-Technology tree as its double-flap counterpart, the X-Optimax K features an elastic membrane under the seat. This shock-absorbing design provides a very deep and comfortable seat, bringing the rider closer to the horse while still allowing for freedom of movement. The large, anatomically shaped knee blocks are positioned higher on the single flap, offering support without restricting the rider's knee.
